Ints Ivanovskis was born in Riga, Latvia in 1983. Coming from a creative family, Ints was encouraged by his parents to explore different art and craft courses, which led to an ever-growing interest in the arts. He attended Liepaja Applied Arts Colleges and the Art Academy of Latvia. A personal family tragedy during his formative years evolved his deeper interest in existential questions.
In 2007, Ints moved to Sweden to continue his studies and expand his view on western social structures with his post-soviet cognition. Ints works predominantly in visual design, but also includes motion graphics and film art in his work. Since 2014 Ints has been a collaborator in the collective Library of People, which facilitates creative dialogues around understandings of death.
